What does a sight test involve?
A sight test involves a series of tests to check your vision and to check for eye diseases. Our optometrists use their experience and wealth of professional knowledge to provide you with the best eyecare. They will prescribe spectacles if needed based on the results of your sight test. Sometimes, the optometrist may need to refer for a medical opinion.
Do I have to have a sight test? I think my eyes are fine!
Of course, you do! It’s not all about glasses, but the health of your eyes too. Our optometrists can detect early signs of eye diseases through the many methods of testing. Leaving a symptom untreated can potentially be sight threatening. We recommend having a sight test once every 2 years.
