Children's Eye Tests
We recommend any child 5 years old and above to have regular eye tests. If you feel your child is struggling with letters on the board at school or are holding a tablet too close, or has any other symptoms, book an appointment to have their eyes checked.
We understand that an eye test can be daunting for children, so take every care to satisfy curious minds by answering any questions they may have throughout the process and making the appointment as fun as possible.
Sporty Kid?
Struggling to see the ball? We can provide sports specs for your child, ensuring every penalty is scored! You will need to bring an up-to-date prescription, or if you’re one of our customers already, pop into the store along with your child and we can look at which sports specs would fit the best.

where are my glasses?
At Hawley Optical we know that kids frames have to be durable, but in the event of a broken pair of frames or lenses or misplaced glasses, we offer a lifetime replacement service on children’s frames bought with the NHS voucher scheme.
We also offer a discounted second pair of frames purchased with a first pair of kids specs.
